LAS VEGAS-A man found guilty of killing his Filipino wife, then burying her in his backyard before he fled to the Philippines to live with his in-laws was sentenced to life imprisonment Tuesday.
Last April, a decomposing body found in the backyard of a Central Las Vegas home was identified as 45 year-old Gloria Lopez Cave.
Las Vegas Police say Gloria’s body, found in her husband Hugh Elvin Cave’s backyard, was tied with a rope and plastic bag buried in a shallow grave under a heavy flowerpot.
