Forgetful Princess

( Hi forgetful Princess, thanks for trusting me your wonderful & beautiful love story that i know many filipina will be inspired by it. Don't lose hope because i had a friend story same to you they've met 9 years ago but she never gave up that guy. She said to herself either stay single forever or she will married by him she waited for 9 long years but love has finally came her way after that long time they started as pen-pal that time. She almost gave up! so i guess your relationship had a big chance have faith in love. Thank you so much! )
This is not a make believe love story but it happens to me way back 2 years ago. A love story
that started out of nothing.

It was November 2006 when I was scheduled to go to Manila. I stayed in my friend's house for awhile because I was taking a trip to Kuala Lumpur at the end of December to 1st week of January.

It was morning here in the Philippines and my friend was online for her online job as a cam girl. I knew about it but it was not a big deal for me. I understand her job, she was doing it to support her family. She went down to pee and I took the chance in browsing her site, It was empty at first and all of the sudden a visitor name"GWAPO" came in. I thought he was a pinoy because he was using a pilipino word. Since my friend was out, I started the conversation. I was talking in tagalog and he was answering me back in tagalog but in limited words. So, I ask him where you from? and he said,"I am from Amsterdam". I just thought, a pinoy working in Amsterdam. No clue that he was a Dutch Boy. The conversation went on, I ask if I can view his cam to justify if he deserved the ID Gwapo. I was shocked! I thought a saw a boy band. He was really gwapo and during that time he was just 24. It was a fatal attraction but it never came into my mind to flirt with him because I was thinking, he's a good looking guy and at his age for sure he was attached. And I was right. Not lovers though but he is seeing a pinay here in the Philippines.

I back off because I am not the type of person who would interfere in a relationship. But we exchange YM id and he ask for my number. I gave him advices and what to expect when he arrives here. I gave him list of beautiful places to visit, foods to try, as in total advisory when it comes to traveling here in the Philippines. We never plan to see each other but instead we exchange "good luck on own trip".

I went to Kuala Lumpur December 29 and he arrived december 30 here in the Philippines. He went to Boracay to spend New Year. I came back January 3, A call wake me up. I almost forgot about him. He called and he was asking how to get to the nearest hotel from NAIA. I gave him instruction. Out of nowhere, he blur out can we meet? I got excited! ( i will not deny it!) I did not hesitate, I said yes. After an hour, he gave me the place where he was staying. I said I will be there after 2 hours. Imagine how far? I was tired because of jetlag but I said yes and traveled my ass to Manila.

I was on the train, thinking about it. I ask myself if it was the right thing to do because he was seeing someone. When I arrived on the place, I gave him a call and he went down. My eyes were drooling looking at him while he was going down from the stairs. OMG, he was a lot handsome in person than in cam.

I became more excited I dont know why. We walked and talked and we end up in Roxas Blvd.. at the vicinity of Manila bay. We had a few drinks, exchanging stories about our own trip. He was disappointed because the girl he was supposed to be meeting didn't showed up. Ouch!At 11pm, no way I can go home. I have nothing but just my CP and wallet.

He offered his room, excited! hehehe . We sleep together. I meant it, we just sleep together. He was hugging me that time. Why? it was a single bed :)) He will fall if he moves. He was very gentleman.

In the morning, he ask me if I wanted to traveling with him. I said yes but Im broke. I just got back from my KL trip. He said nothing to worry, I will shoulder everything. I choose the place, Lingayen Pangasinan. We stayed there over a week. We went to hundred island, Dagupan, nearby places. We had so much fun, I miss those days that we just sit on stairs and looking at the sea. Holding hands while walking in the beach. Playing magic tricks. The last day was sad, I feel like crying because I had so much fun and enjoyed his company so much but he is leaving so soon. Being with him in one week time was the most happiest thing that ever happen to me.

He didn't promise anything and I didn't expect anything. But one thing for sure he said, "I will be coming back". It gave me hope to believe that there is love. He went home, I was sad but we cont. talking almost everyday.

Time run so fast and its almost July .He plan to be here. We traveled, Manila-puerto princesa-Cebu-Bohol-Manila. It was the most unforgettable moments I have with him. The end has come, he will be going home again.

It was after the trip, he realized that he was missing me so bad. He said, he wants to spend his life with me and he is willing to live here in the Philippines. His parents was against about it-they hate pinay. In Amsterdam, Pinays are whore. Money and Visa after. But he told his parents, I never ask for a single peso and during our trip , I spend a lot. We became lovers after the July 2007 trip. The rest are history :-)

Btw, he gave me the name forgetful princess because he knew i was not good in names, dates! I easily forget people and even my birth date. I have a short term memory loss during that time. What he did, he texted me everyday, call me often and chat so I wont forget about him. Sigh, it melts my heart :-(I attached our pics.

Can you remember the day you first met your hubby? When was that?

This is our first picture together. I remember because he arrived late at the airport that time. I was there early 7:00 pm. Straight from Davao City. I dunno i guess i'm there already at Centenial Airport coz i booked on my flight from Davao City in Philippines Airlines. They said i need to transfer to other airport where hes going to arrived that time. I am very naive in Manila Of course co'z before there was only one airport but when i came there two airport. I was so scared too. Because they said Manila lots of notorious people. And didn't want him to come to Davao City too. I dunno why? I'm scared that after we met maybe he said he don't want to marry me. I am so independent. I ruled my life the way that i wanted to. It's good that we have to met first somewhere with out telling all my friends in Davao that me & my virtual boy friend will met there in Manila. Secretive...that way walay tsismis if ever di ba.

#-4 Story of Rose I Korea I

Learning is a continuous process. It is like loving someone. We should never stop doing both. We can learn from our daily interaction with other people, from watching TV and from reading, we even learn from our small children, but the most important thing that we should learn is the lesson from our mistakes.
I was 28 years old when I graduated college which I thought I won't be able to achieve but through perseverance, hard work and spiced with faith in God, I made it. Although I already have a job, I still want to further my education so I can have a part time job like teaching one or two subjects in school.
Being the bread winner of the family I have to make more income so I'd be able to send my siblings to school. So i work on daytime and goes to school at night. There's no time for love sabi nga nila.
I was busy with my thesis writing (September 2002) when I met this guy from Asian Matchmaker site (Thank you very much Ruth). The student assistant in our office, Ms. Ruth Interno, told me to make a profile in that site but I just laughed and told her that I am so busy. She told me that she's gonna make me one and I said "Okay" thinking that she was just kidding but I was wrong. She really made me one and even posted a picture of me, so I went with the flow and added some description of myself there. On the last day of my free trial 7th day), I had this feeling that I have to check my account, so I did and sure enough there's one message waiting for me. It was like a frantic message saying "Please send me an email to this email add". So that's what I did and I learned that his free trial was expiring in minutes before he found my profile.
Four monthshad pass since our first meeting and he returned so we could get married. He arrived on the 30th of July. The next day we went to US Embassy in Manila to get an authorization to wed. We were so happy because he got it. We headed for the travel agent to get our airline tickets to Legazpi. John ran into the travel agent while I waited in a taxi.
While waiting for his return, I opened my cellphone was stunned by the messages I had received from my brother Rick. It felt like every bit of excitement and energy had left my body when I found out that MY FATHER HAD JUST PASSED AWAY. I didn't know what to say, I couldn't even open my mouth to utter a single word. Tears filled my eyes and began running down my face.
I was full of remorse during my father's wake, I regretted that I never told my father that I love him, that I appreciated everything that he did for us. I learned a lot of things when he died. I learned that we should never let hatred reign in our hearts for so long, that no matter what happens, we should always show our love to our parents/family while they're still around.
Despite of the tragedy, we still got married. My Mother said that it was what my father wanted. August 11, 2003 was when we first tied the knot (civil wedding in Donsol, Sorsogon), then we had our church wedding the next year (10-13-2004) in The Lady of the Gate Parish in Daraga, Albay. Our motif were the colors we're wearing when we first met, red and yellow.
I'm glad that I took the chance of giving us time to let our relationship blossom. I'm glad I didn't listen to the people who tried to discouraged me, who told me that "it won't work out", "that "it will just end up with tears". Now, when I look back on what I have gone through, I always thank God for giving me so much grace.
We've been married for five years now and our love is still growing stronger as each day passes. We we're blessed with two adorable and beautiful kids that we love dearly. One girl and one boy....exactly the outcome we had hoped and prayed for in our life together. Now I can say that my life is complete.
Happy Anniversary Hon! Thank you for being so loving everyday!

My story: Half-way around the world

Chatting through the internet? That was a big question on my mind. I have no idea what was it, then. One of my students invited me to go with her at an internet cafe. I was so observant of what was going on there. I found out that some we're doing nasty things online (i hope not anymore at present). I didn't like what i saw...I said to myself...no way am i going online chatting. My former co-worker told me she's gon'na open an internet cafe, and said she's gon'na create a profile for me and teach me how to chat. Well, i tried, but got mad if somebody used nasty words...i am just a very conservative woman. It was June of 2004 when i started yahoo chat...had a few chosen nice friends. I met my husband that same month. He sounded arrogant at first...but i like him anyway. He's always courteous and respectful. By July, he asked me to marry him, and went to the Philippines to visit me on September. He stayed there for a couple of weeks only. Though that was just a short period of time, we did make use of that precious moments, discovering each others personalities. No pretentious, no lies, both of us showed the real person in us. By December of 2004, he filed a fiancee visa petition for me...was approved, and i came here last June of 2005. We got married July 1, 2005. I never ever thought of marrying a foreigner. I even told my father not to include me in his filing for visa petition, as one of his children (my father was a US citizen). I was so contented with my life in the Philippines...loving family, friends, a stable job. We will be having our 3rd year wedding anniversary this July. We laughed when we recalled those moments when we first met. Our love is growing stronger now...with God's blessings! dette

Thanks ate dette
