Port Saint Lucie, Fla. – A young Filipina and her elderly husband were found dead in their home early this morning, in what police believe to be a murder-suicide.
Police investigators believe that Filipina Carhina Floerchinger, 21 was shot and killed by her 78-year old husband Guenther Floerchinger, before he turned the gun on himself.
Police found evidence that Guenther tried to set their house on fire after killing his wife.
The Filipina’s 4-year old daughter, who was reportedly in the house at the time of murder, escaped unharmed.
The pair reportedly met online while Carhina was still in the Philippines. She later came with her daughter to the U.S. to marry Guenther.
